Welcome

_There are various reasons a person may be starting life over after age 40. Many people associate this age group with mid-life crisis. While starting over after 40 may be associated with mid-life crisis, it often goes beyond that. Some people feel the need to start life anew after age 40 because of divorce, a breakup or a career change. Some parents, whether single or married, suffer from empty-nest syndrome, while others may be married or single and feeling unhappy in general. Maybe you have never been married and wonder how you will ever find the right person at middle age. Even the fear of gravity causing your body to move in directions you never thought possible, is a reason people feel the need to make changes.

Starting over is never easy, but after you reach a certain age, it seems to be even more difficult. After age 40, you might find it more difficult to date or to change careers. Your financial status can decrease dramatically, especially after a divorce. Being able to relate to experiences and feelings others go through,  makes the journey a bit easier. This website will address those experiences and feelings with articles, help-tips and personal stories. Even if you aren't age 40 or older, but are starting life over, there is information on our website you can relate to.

Life does not end when you turn 40. It's simply a new chapter. Life can start over after age 40 and be a beautiful new beginning!
